I think the sky was very nice and with the reflection from the lake the whole scenery is magical.

This building used to be a hotel. The building almost fell into disrepair until someone bought it and renovated it. Nowadays there are business premises and a cafeteria on the ground floor.

Shepherdess

This statue of a shepherdess stands in the center of Seinäjoki. It was designed in the 60's by Jussi Koivusalo. It stands for agriculture where are the roots of Seinäjoki's trade and industry. You can see from the fallen leaves that autumn has come.

Wallsport

This is a "bubble hall", a sports arena called Wall Sport Arena. I believe it's mainly used for football(soccer), pesäpallo(finnish baseball) and golf practice. There is also a gym, sauna and cafeteria.

Yritys - Daycare

This is a playschool called "Yrityksen päiväkoti". It's named after the original owner of the house and the founder of first daycare center in Seinäjoki, Saima Yritys. Her husband was a sawmill owner Israel Yritys. The house was designed by the architect Matti Visanti.

Military stuff

There was a big military concert, Tattoo, in Seinäjoki Arena today. On the break some of the finnish defence forces's equipment was being displayed outside the Arena. Here you can see a tank, antiaircraft cannon and a troop carrier.

There was(is) a legend that these holes were made by bombs some day. But the truth is, as far as I know, that they are designed by the architect who designed this whole park.
The park is called "Myllypuisto", "Mill Park".

Kivirikko - house

This is the house of the cellar presented yesterday. It's called "Kivirikko". It was originally built for the senior physician of the nearby hospital. In 1930's. Nowdays it is used for e.g.weddings.
