Ylistaro, which is nowadays part of Seinäjoki, has this "Komia Kirkko". The dialectual nickname translates into Magnificent Church. It was built in 1847-1850 and designed by E.B. Lohrmann. As the church is very big for a parish size of Ylistaro, it has been playfully told that the was a mixup in the drawings and some smaller church should have been built there. I quess that is not true and it stands right where it should.
